Kara joined the Student-Athlete Academic Services team in Fall 2014. As Assistant Athletics Director for Student Development, her responsibilities include serving as the academic coordinator for the tennis and soccer teams, organizing student-athlete recognition events, and overseeing the Hawkeye Life program. Prior to Iowa, Kara was an Academic Coordinator at University of Northern Iowa from 2010-2014, and Assistant Director for Student-Athlete Services at the University of Akron from 2007-2010.
