Kara joined the Student-Athlete Academic Services team in Fall 2014. As Senior Associate Director for Student Development & Events, her responsibilities include organizing student-athlete recognition events, coordinating all events and programs within the Hawkeye Life program, as well as liaison to Iowa Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (ISAAC). Prior to Iowa, Kara was an Academic Coordinator at University of Northern Iowa from 2009-2014, and Assistant Director for Student-Athlete Services at the University of Akron from 2007-2009.
