Chandler Easley

Learning Specialist
Biography

Dr. Easley joined the Student-Athlete Academic Services team in 2019 as the Learning Specialist. Her primary focus is to support student-athletes as learners, leaders, and thriving Hawkeyes and encourage their success at the University of Iowa and beyond.  She earned both her B.S. in English Education and M.A. in English from the University of Missouri (Tigers!) and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Sacramento State University. Chandler has served as an English teacher in many states across the country and in classrooms ranging from 7th grade through college. She also spent four years as a higher education Student Services Advisor and, most recently, ran a high school expanded learning program through a non-profit organization in Sacramento, CA. Chandler is excited for her return to the Midwest and to be a part of the spirited community that makes the University of Iowa a spectacular place to be.
